Benedict James Flanigan is an award-winning filmmaker based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He works as Director, Editor and DP, among other roles, on a variety of film and TV productions. Ben co-directed the short narrative film Are You Still There?, which won Best Film at the San Francisco 24-Hour Film Race 2011. He recently worked as editor on a TV version of Better This World which screened on POV. The film won the Best Documentary Feature Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival 2011. He is currently directing a personal documentary about grief due for release in 2013.
